Club Affiliation Information
Club Affiliation to the African Love Bird Society has been made as simple as possible with expanded levels of affiliation. We have grown steadily over the last few years and are very proud of our improving ALBS Journal, Agapornis World. As you can see we now offer a choice of five Affiliation levels. Please read through the list of benefits and choose a level which best fits your club’s needs. Remember, any domestic or foreign club/society may join whether or not they have any members who belong to ALBS. If you choose to join our expanding list of affiliated clubs, please return the enclosed application with your payment as promptly as possible. Please download a copy of the Show Classifications and Affiliation application. Payment for affiliations can be made online through paypal and affiliation forms maybe e-mailed to affiliations@africanlovebirdsociety.com.

Love Bird Classifications (Microsoft Word Format)
We hope and recommend that affiliated clubs will choose qualified members of our Panel of Judges for their shows. Panel Judges will be able to answer your member’s questions and birds belonging to your members will be able to accumulate Champion Points. Level 1 (No Show club)___$35.00
- One year’s subscription to Agapornis World for the Affiliated Club’s library.
- All articles written in Agapornis Worldwill be allowed to be reprinted in affiliated journals or newsletters without written permission at any time as long as mention is made of where the article originated, full credit is given to the author and there are no existing copyright restrictions.
- Agapornis World will publish club events and meeting times.
Level 2 (Minor Show club)___$85.00
Same as Level 1 with the following additions:
- Agapornis World will publish all show information, including show winners for the Love Bird Division.
- Show Awards:
One ALBS Dated Flat Ribbon for each section in Division (12 Qty).
One ALBS Best in Division plaque.
Level 3 (Medium Show club)___$110.00
Same as Level 1 and 2 with the following additions:
Three ALBS Date Rosettes for the top three Love Birds in Division.
One ALBS Medallion for Best-Unflighted Love Bird in Division
One ALBS Medallion for Best Novice in Division.
Level 4 (Major Show club)___$135.00
Same as Level 1, 2, and 3 with the following additions:
Ten ALBS Date Rosettes for the top ten Love Birds in Division.
One ALBS Medallion for Best Champion Love Bird in Division.
Level 5 (Major ++ club)___$170.00
Same as Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 with the following additions:
2nd and 3rd place Dated Flat Ribbons for each section in the Division.
Level 6 Two Division/National Show___$240.00
Same as Level 1,2,3,4, and 5 with the following additions:
One Best Rare & Eyering Plaque
Additional Set of Ten Top Bench Dated Rosettes
Optional: 11th-20th Top Bench Dated Rosettes Add $35.00
