My humans are pretty good to me. They buy me treats, furnish my cage with new toys, clean my room for me, and make sure I take a bath. In turn, I make sure they know how much I like them. I’ve stopped biting them when they open my door, I do tricks for them, and I serenade them all the time!

There are two dogs and a rabbit that share this house with us birds. I think the big black dog wants to eat us, but he’s not fast enough to catch me! And I make sure I’m in my cage whenever he walks by. The little brown dog is no threat to me – she’s afraid of her own shadow. All I have to do is yell at her with my squawky voice and she’s under the table…shaking like a leaf. Really, it’s pretty funny to watch. The rabbit doesn’t do anything but sleep and eat. One lazy rabbit. And ya know…rabbits don’t make any noise.

I’ve taught myself some pretty cool tricks. My favorite is to hang upside down in my cage, and pretend I’m Batman. I wish I had a cape! I can count. There are beads on my mirror – and I keep up my math skills by pushing these beads from side to side. My humans think that’s amazing! I’ve been practicing tumbling…it hurts my head, though. But I’ll have that trick mastered soon. I can pick up my papaya treats with my foot. I like to play “Eagle Attack” where I fly in place and pretend I’m soaring high above the mountains.

I taught my human to play “Pretty Bird” with me. Even though Mercy thinks she’s the pretty bird, I really know it’s me.

I have a good life here and am very happy. My humans have taken several pictures of me – and I really hope they got my “good side”.
