The African Love Bird Society Pet Contest is open to all people. We encourage all pet owners around the world to enter into this friendly competition. We have some wonderful awards donated by Diana Coltenback of Paradise Pet . Each winner will also receive a copy of Agapornis World. All winners will get their bird's picture posted onto the ALBS Pet Spotlight Pages including Honorable Mentions. The last official day for submissions is 12/17/05. The results will be posted on 12/24/05 online and will also be in 2006's first Agapornis World Journal. Agapornis World is the love bird journal put out by the African Love Bird Society. All members receive a copy of this journal every quarter. Please consider joining ALBS.
1st place
- 30" Lovebird flight cage in white, decked out with all the trimmings.

Rules
- The bird must be a love bird. Hybrid birds are ok.
- You do not need to be a member of ALBS to participate.
- The judging will be done by Jessica Miller and Blake Ma of the African Love Bird Society.
- Judging for pet quality will be based 50% on pictures submitted and 50% on description of the pet.
- Multiple entries per family are allowed.
- The contest is no longer limited to residents of the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. We welcome everyone around the world to participate.
- We reserve the right to change or modify the rules at any time.
Submission
- The subject should say "ALBS PET CONTEST - NAME"(of love bird)
- Please attach 2 different pictures of your love bird pet.
- If you are a youth, please specify your age, and your pet maybe eligible for the Youth's Pet Pages after the contest is over.
- Please describe your love bird and any funny antics that makes your love bird special or unique.(Any information you want to provide about your love bird and want to share with everyone). If you are one of the winners, this information will be posted on the website.
- Also include your full name, e-mail, address, and phone number.
