What is the Dark-Eyed Clear(aka Dark Eyed Yellow) Fischer's mutation. Is it different than the Dilute Mutation?
REPLY - By Blake Ma
Dark-Eyed Clear (DEC) also known as Dark-Eyed Yellow is a separate autosomal-recessive mutation. It is a different mutation than Dilute. A homozygous DEC has a blue rump whereas a DECIno has a white rump. DEC is located on the a-locus which is the same locus as the Non-SexLinked Ino Mutation.
