QUESTION

What is a Novice Exhibitor?

REPLY - By Blake Ma

A Novice is any exhibitor that did not place on the top bench in the last year. When a Novice places in a top bench, their Novice status will continue with them for the rest of that year. Beginning the next year, they will no longer be considered a Novice. Only Novices are eligible to receive the Best Novice Award Rosette. When there are no champion love birds shown, the Champion medal is also awarded to the Best Novice.
