QUESTION

How long do I quarantine and how do I do it?

REPLY - By Kathy Greaser

This period should be from 30-45 days at a minimum. During this time you watch very
closely for signs of illness. The perfect way to do this is for a totally different air space than
any of your other birds and a total change of clothing and a shower before you go near any
of your birds before and after being with new birds. This is not possible for a good
percentage of us, so get as close to perfection as you can in your situation.
