No one can answer this question but your vet. Call around because the
prices do vary a lot.
Just make sure you are calling vets who are members of the Association of
Avian
Veterinarians (AAV) or a similar professional body and ask for an itemized
list of the cost.
Different vets include different things in their check ups. The only way
you can price
compare fairly is with a procedure list.
Ask the seller who his or her vet is. Check with the local bird clubs. You
should do this well
before any emergency arises.
