Judge's Comments:
I would like to thank all the people that helped with the Great American Show. The number of Rares and Eye-rings was at 50 bids and 9 exhibitors. The Black-cheeked class was large with 10 and 1 Abyssinian. The Abyssinian was spotless. We also had 34 Fischer's in the Section and 5 Masked. Well as you can see the show report that the Abyssinian won the show and took 3rd Best in Show. Congratulations to Mary and Dave Arthur, the owner of the Abyssinian it also won the next day.

Judge's Comments:
I would like to thank all the people that ran the show because the show was well run. We had a very good turnout of peachfaced lovebirds. 165 birds and 14 exhibitors. It was a great show and the birds were great also. All sections had very even numbers. The high section was the violets and the low sections was the longfeathers. The finest 3 birds were in great shape. Also the top 20 birds all were top birds. Again great show and great bireds. Thank you.

Judge's Comments:
There were 11 rares, 35 Fischer's, and 4 Masked Love Birds in this division. An Abby hen hovered in 1st over a yellow Fischer's that was outstanding. 3rd, a well conformed green Fischer's, held a Black-cheeked in 4th. There were 10 Black-cheeked in this show. 5th, a green Fischer's, also held a Black-cheeked in 6th, 7th, a yellow Fischer's held another Black-cheeked in 8th, 9th, a Violet Masked, held back a Blue Masked in 10th. The 5th place green Fischer's was best unflighted. My thanks go to Mid-America Club members, ALBS members and GABs members for organizing, stewarding, classifying and secretarying this division. |
