Judge's Comments:
The show was unfortunately held the same dame week end as the GABS show. Many exhibitors that usually attend went to Iowa instead, thus the low entries. The Black-cheeked that won was perfectly marked, nice size and great condition. Truly worthy of winning. The 2nd place bird was perhaps one of the best Blue Fischer's I've seen. Face was clean and white. Our emphasis on marking is starting to show. This show was also the Helen Thompson Memorial Show. Helen passed earlier in the year and is sorely missed.
