Judge's Comments:

I wish to thank the exhibitors both local and those who drove many hours to attend this Regional Love Bird Show. The quality of the birds was very good due to the efforts of all these exhibitors.

The American cinnamon dark green peachfaced was an incredible bird of excellent quality, truly a wonderful bird. Congratulations to Doree and Doug Bedwell. The second place bird was an orangefaced green peachfaced exhibited by Janet Garcia. This bird had great conformation - very good width of head and body, one of the very difficult things to achieve in the orangefaced. I also wish to thank Tom voges for bringin a very nice group of normal green Fischer's. We certainly need more members specializing in the normal greens. I also must mention a beautiful American pied violet shown by Michelle Mendoza. This bird had great symmetry and was a top quality bird.

Visiting New Mexico is always a pleasure. The hospitality is the best. They treat you like a real judge. : ) I wish to thank the New Mexico Bird Club for a very enjoyable weekend.
