Judge's Comments:
I would like to thank the Raleigh-Durham Cage Bird Society for having me judge the love birds in North Carolina. Also I would like to thank Paul Crow, Janet Landvater and Wendy Poole for working the show and making it run very smoothly.
We had 60 birds and 27 of them were in the Fischer's section, so half the bird show was Fischer's. The #1 bird, a yellow Fischer's, owned by Shawn Currier was a very nice bird. The bird we really need to talk about was the dilute Fischer's, hatched in 2002, only 5-6 months old, and came in second place. It was owned and exhibited by Wendy Poole. What a baby bird! You will see a lot of this one. |
