Judge's Comments:
I want to thank the Central Alabama Avicultural Society for a lovely weekend and a very well organized show. The Love Bird Division had a very good group of birds that represented a wide variety for this Regional Show. The number one bird was a normal green Fischer's owned by Wendy Edwards. The bird stood in perfect position during the entire show. It was in excellent condition and best of all it had extremely good color. The number two and three birds, the whitefaced medium blue peachfaced and the normal green peachfaced, were owned by Doree and Doug Bedwell both were very good birds also. Doree and Doug have been showing some excellent b irds in recent years and I congratulate them on their efforts. The champion exhibited by Doree and Doug, a dark green american cinnamon, is quite simply a fabulous bird. It placed number one for points only.
All in all this was an excellent show. It is my fondest hope that the club can continue putting on such a magnificent event and include a Love Bird Division. I certainly would love to return. : )
A special thanks to Wendy Edwards, my secretary, Katy Secor and Tony Adamas, my stewards and Doree Bedwell for her help in setting up. Tony deserves a great round of applause for his first Regional Show and all his efforts and time spent.

I would like to thank the Central Alabama Club for letting me judge the Lovebird Division. Also I would like to thank my help, Doree Bedwell, Wendy Edward, and Tony Admas. It was the 2nd day of the two-day regional show. Great birds, great people, and a lot of good fun. The sections were well balanced with different mutations. Doree & Doug Bedwell took 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place and their champion placed 3rd in the show. 1st place bird was a green Fischer's that was in perfect condition. It was bred and banded by Wendy Edwards. She also had 5th place. It was a very good show and the birds were in great condition. Also Tony Adams did a great job putting on the regional show.
