Judge's Comments:
Following the Love Birds, Inc. program of organizing a monthly single section show, this time a great number of violet peachfaced lovebirds were shown in Plaza de Armas in the heart of Old San Juan. An impressive dark blue violet in perfect feather condition placed first, but he was closely followed by four whitefaced love birds and any of those top five lovebirds could have placed first in the competition. An American dilute greywing voilet which placed 9th called the attention of the public because it had a great color combination seldcom seen over here. It was a very good show and the educational effort which was the main objective of the single section shows has been obviously well received by breeders and exhibitors.
