Judge's Comments-
Judging the New Mexico show in Albuquerque is always a pleasure. This show is always well organized and they treat the judges very well :-).
It was a small show but included some outstanding birds. The first place bird a Green Opaline was not only in excellent condition but was a large full bodied bird. Size has very often held back Opalines from winning on the top bench. Not this time! The Violets in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place were all very nice birds in good condition - overality thatl a very nice group of birds was exhibited.
There is a possibility that this was their last show. I would strongly urge exhibitors to support this show. They have a good group of Bird Enthusiasts but they cannot do it alone.

The show was a small show with 32 birds, but the 32 birds were all show birds in great condition and show quality. The last bird would make top bench at any other show. The first 3 birds can win any showthey go to. The blue pied is one of the best pieds I have seen, the opaline green had very good size for an opaline, WF Violet had a whiteface and I can on and on. I would like to thank my secretary, steward and ribbons person. Also the club. And Jan Ward. Thank you.
