What a quality show! Excellent setting, strong competition, and well planned. The green fischer's couldn't be beat. All birds on top bench were of top quality. #2 bird Australian Cinnamon will be seeing on the top bench a lot. Exhibitors from many states bringing a fascination of species and color mutations. The size of opalines has improved as well as the many new mutations of opalines. 12 Rares, 13 Fischer's, 14 Masked, 18 Green Peachfaced, 14 Blue Peachfaced, 4 Green Pied, 4 Blue Pied, 3 American Cinnamon, 8 Australian Cinnamon, 7 Violet, 12 Opaline, 2 Longfeathered, and 3 Champions, 114 total. I felt with the large show hall (state fair grounds) that I was judging a National size show. Thanks to secretary and stewards for a fine job. Thanks to exhibitors for breeding and showing such nice birds.

THE ALBS REGIONAL SHOW AT RALEIGH-DURHAM

109 birds and good quality make for an excellent show!

The first placed bird, a normal Green Fischer's, had great color with a maximum amount of orange. This bird was of good size but not too large. It was also well trained and sat in the Ideal Position on the perch - AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A FISCHER'S.

There was also some very outstanding birds in both the American and Australian Cinnamons. The Black-cheeked were also extremely good.

The show was well organized with good staging and lighting. I look forward to attending future shows in Raleigh-Durham.
