Peachfaced Lovebirds

Judge's Comments: I would like to thank everyone involved in the Great American Bird Show. We had 70 birds and 7 exhibitors. We had large sections. The Green's and Cinnamons, and Opalines . Jim Munis won the show with a Medium Green Peachfaced that was showing well and in great condition. The top 20 birds can win any show. They were great birds. I was surprised to see the peachfaced in this good condition for an early show and they were. I would like to thank all my exhibitors who brough their birds for me to judge. The best champion owned by Glenda Pullum placed 4th best, a very nice violet pied.

Rares and Eyering Lovebirds

Judge's Comments:

I would like to thank all the people of the Great American Bird Show and the host club. It was a very well run show, lights & staging was great. The eyering division numbers were low, 35 birds and 4 exhibitors but the 35 birds were in perfection cnodition and very well show trained. It was a hard show for me to judge 35 great birds, needed a top 10. We were looking for any little flaw, pin feather, long toe nails, fraded tail. It was difficult. The top bird was an excellent example of a green fischer's. Super bird owned and raised by Dave & Mary Arthur. Then we work in the champions and here comes a Champion Green Fischer's. That was better than the winner also owned and raised by Dave & Mary Arthur, great birds.
